    Kegeln

    Hi Chris:

I studied at the University of Vienna in 1979, and stayed in St. Radegund for about 3 weeks during this period. At that time there was a Kegeln facility there, and we played. Know it was built well before the war - not sure it is still there.

The game was also played in the UK in one form or another. I remember a 9 pin alley, set up behind a pub in Somerset during the 70's, which had been there for 200 years. The game was also played in many pubs in the London area but was an indoor version (Bar Skittles)

Could be from any European country really as a good luck charm, nice looking item though.

        pin

The reverse pin setup seems conducive with the pin setup of most tinnies.
